The Goodwill Campaign, led by the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), delivered, assistance and food parcels to 200 vulnerable families headed by women in the Al-Dhaleel Area - Zarqa Governorate.
The assistance was provided as part of the campaign’s efforts and mission to support vulnerable families, improve the living and economic conditions of targeted households and those most in need across the Kingdom, and to uphold the values of social solidarity and mutual support.
The campaign also implemented—funded by Fondazione Prosolidar and the Order of Malta – Jordan, through a fully equipped mobile dental clinic, a free, specialised dental medical day targeting basic-stage students at Ruba Al-Dhulail Mixed Basic School, benefiting 116 boys and girls.
The medical activity included dental examinations and screening, health awareness and education sessions, the distribution of personal and dental-care supplies, the application of fluoride to teeth, and the provision of direct treatment services through the mobile clinic supported by the Order of Malta.
During the activity, the participating medical teams also examined the case of a girl suffering from tongue-tie and requiring surgical intervention. The campaign will follow up her case as part of its partnership with the private medical sector.
The Goodwill Campaign reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these medical activities and providing assistance to target families, in line with its vision of supporting national efforts to improve families’ living conditions and empowering the most vulnerable communities through integrated initiatives.
The campaign also confirmed it will continue its purposeful, collaborative programmes with various local and international institutions to ensure humanitarian services reach all areas of the Kingdom, contributing to a sustainable developmental impact on local communities.
