The Goodwill Campaign, implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), organised a specialised free medical day at Sheikh Hussein Bridge Mixed Secondary School in the Northern Jordan Valley District, in collaboration with campaign volunteers and Al Shami Eye Centre.

The medical day, which targeted students of the school, included treatment and consultation services through dental, ophthalmology, and general medicine clinics, benefiting 200 students from the first three primary grades.

During the event, students received fluoride dental treatments, were educated on oral and dental health care, and were provided with necessary hygiene supplies. Additionally, an eye specialist from Al Shami Eye Centre conducted vision screenings, and a number of cases were selected for further medical follow-up at the centre.

According to the participating medical team, tooth decay and malocclusion were among the most common health issues observed among students in the area. The team stressed the importance of continuing awareness and health education efforts, particularly in the field of oral and dental health.
