Projects at ZENID
 
Each year, ZENID implements around 25 - 30 projects with a range of development partners. ZENID values this operational role, which creates an opportunity to demonstrate the linkages between theory and practice.
ZENID draws on the rich experience gained from projects and field operations to ensure that its training is up-to-date and grounded in the realities of the field, and is tailored to the real needs of the people it serves. The summary below illustrates ZENID's project work.

Projects: Claiming rights, using media
Project title:                AFLAMAT promoting gender rights to youth, through media

Project purpose
The overall goal of the project is to help communities, especially youth to claim and enjoy  equal rights, especially in respect of women's rights.  
Main objectives 

To create a group of young people to implement advocacy campaigns concerning rights, and especially gender rights
To enhance the knowledge and skills of the selected young group about women's rights and empowerment
To enhance the skills of the young group to use ICT / and audio-visual media tools to advocate effectively for women's rights
To produce media products promoting women's rights to be used across Jordan, especially with young people.
 
Target 
Youth aged 18-25 in Amman, specifically targeting youth from Al Hashemi Al Shamali and surrounded areas. However, the showcasing will be wide, with dissemination through the JOHUD network of 50 CDCs and their youth committees.
