Our partnerships
JOHUD recognizes that it is necessary to create partnerships and to build alliances in order to mobilize sufficient resources to effectively tackle the development problems that Jordan faces. JOHUD is proud if its long-term partnerships with a range of national, regional and international partners from government, civil society and the private sector.

Partners in the community
At community level, JOHUD works with local Community Based Organisations (CBOs) and jamayyia and encourages them to play an active role in the management of the CDCs.  The CDC encourages good relationships with the local Municipalities and their elected representatives and Mayors. At the governorate level JOHUD liaises with the Governor and the Governorate Development Unit so that development projects deliver the best possible results for local people.

National partnerships
At the national level, JOHUD aims to ensure that its work is aligned with national strategies and contributes to poverty alleviation. JOHUD participates in national level planning processes and also works closely with line ministries, especially ministries such as social development, health, education and the National Aid Fund, that deliver core services used by the poor.

JOHUD is also an implementing partner with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, especially in the implementation of priority national initiatives such as the Pockets of Poverty Project and, previously, the Village Clusters Project.

International partners
JOHUD also values its partnerships with multi-lateral and bi-lateral international agencies and with international NGOs. JOHUD recognizes the key role that these partners have played in guiding and supporting the work that JOHUD carries out. JOHUD is eager to maintain and expand these mutually rewarding relationships.

Increasingly, JOHUD is also working with private sector partners as part of their corporate social responsibility commitments.
