Call for Princess Basma 2018 social award applications opens

AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) on Sunday announced receiving applications for the 2018 Princess Basma Award for Human Development and Community Services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In a press conference, the award committee stressed the importance of this year’s theme, which focuses on the role of social entrepreneurship in the development of local communities and bringing about a positive change.

Entries are open to individuals and institutions through the website until July 14, according to organisers, who noted that the award prizes range from JD10,000 for the first place, JD7,000 for the second and JD5,000 for the third.
